Rethinking What ABA Can Look Like

At Thrive ABA Therapy, we believe families should have options when it comes to ABA therapy—including options for how that therapy is delivered.

Our BCBA-only model, where BCBAs provide direct therapy rather than supervising a traditional team of behavior technicians, has sparked conversations within the ABA community about what a different approach can look like.

We’re proud to have been featured in Breaking News ABA in a founder profile exploring the story behind Thrive, why we chose a different approach, and what it looks like to build an ABA practice around direct clinical care.

“Thrive ABA Therapy Runs an In-Network, BCBA-Only Care Model”

What happens when you rethink the traditional structure of ABA therapy?

Breaking News ABA took a closer look at Thrive ABA Therapy and the thinking behind our BCBA-only model—from why we chose to have BCBAs provide direct therapy to how we’ve built a practice around smaller caseloads, meaningful relationships, and high-quality clinical care.

The feature explores Thrive’s origins, our approach to ABA, and our decision to build a practice that prioritizes quality of care over quantity of clients.

Testimonials

Thrive provided my teenage son with ABA therapy during summer of 2024. I would highly recommend Thrive! They focused on my son's programs. They obviously care for the kiddos and are flexible and accommodating when scheduling sessions. Without these ABA sessions, my son would have regressed by the time he resumed school. Thank you Thrive! Keep up the great work!

- Tarek Radi

I am blessed to have found Kristen. I had a wonderful experience with her. She has the greatest work ethic. When she worked with my child, she observed him thoroughly all the time to figure out how she can grab his attention and keep him engaged with her. She knew when my child was upset and she very well knew how to handle that situation by teaching my child a verbal approach to deal with frustration. Under her guidance, my kid went from saying 2-3 words to saying more than 50 words and sometimes using 2 words together.
